I changed motor 3 with motor 4 and the problem was the same, then I changed ESC of 3 with ESC of 4 and the problem followed it,
so in conclusion, the problem is with ESC of 3, I will buy a new ESC this Wednesday and I will keep you posted on any further developments.

If those ESC’s came in a kit with the other very low quality components you can see in your posted video (like the motors) I would suggest replacing all 4 with some branded units.

Hello, I made a mistake of buying apm 2.8 in 2025 and I cannot regret it now cuz I have to work with it as my budget doesn’t allow a new one. I have similar issues but is flipping to any direction it likes and mostly towards the rear right. But this case is it flips to any direction. I tried all the ways written in this discussion except for changing the esc’s. I use Simonk 30a esc. So please can anyone help this case. I use MP 1.3.68 since it is the one of the version that supports the apm 2.8.
Motor order or direction is probably wrong.
I checked the motor order and direction. They were right. Btw if I were to change the esc which one should I change, I mean let’s say it flips mostly to rear right side. So I change should change the rear right motor esc right?
No, check the motor order again. It is still wrong. It is ABCD, not 1234

Hi everyone,
It uses the exact same parts including the chassis. I think we bought the same thing. I have 10 of this set. I assembled two sets and had the same problem with both. Its flip over the right side.
In addition, it does not process yaw, pitch, roll commands. I tried when the propellers are not attached. I can see these commands in the mission planner. It gets the correct values from the rc arm.

Sorry for the late update. I wanted to share the resolution in case it helps others facing the same problem.
I was experiencing a consistent left tilt and flip on takeoff with my DJI 450 quadcopter, despite performing all calibrations multiple times and confirming motor order and direction using Mission Planner’s motor test.
After several checks:
This clearly pointed to a faulty ESC on Motor 3. After replacing it with a new ESC, the quadcopter now flies correctly.
