integrate a flux capacitor with Ardupilot? I’m imagining current possibilities and hoping it could spark some interest. 
Is that the wondrous flux capacitor that I’ve read about as a kid? I always thought of it as folklore and didn’t realise someone actually has one !!
Don’t suppose you have a girdle spring or any marzel vanes there too?

You’d actually be able to visually simulate the flux capacitor from Back to The Future with some NeoPixel LEDs and run it on a LUA script for some different effects (Disarmed, Armed, Landing…) Mount a suitable “contraption” on the underside of your copter, or hang it off the side as per the tic-tac-toe demo.

When I have the time and cash to play, maybe I’ll build a small long range cruiser with some fun LEDs!
All you need to do, is just connect the polarity in reverse and power on. I heard it gives your drone an extra bang
