I’m scratching my head building the hardware side of the antenna tracker, namely the gearing on the servo’s for the Pan and Tilt. I would be interested in any of the hardware builds for this.
My issue is, one build I have seen relating to this website has mentioned the aim is to get a full 360 degrees from a servo, but when it comes to the pictures, it shows a 20 something gear driving a 78 something gear for the panning. Also, the tilt, they have set to some 90 degrees but again, a 20 something gear driving a 70 something gear. I could understand if the larger gear is on the servo and the 20 something gear is driven by the larger gear.
Am I missing something?
