Airspeed measurement fluctuates a lot

Hello,

I am tuning a dual motor non vectored tailsitter and I noticed that the Airspeed measurement (ARSP.Airspeed) fluctuates a lot during QSTABILIZE and FBWA. The day of the flight was quite windy with some wind gusts but I don’t think this is the source of the problem (if it is a problem).

  • Is it normal for the airspeed to fluctuate that much?
  • Extra question: Since the pitot tube is in the front of the plane, what is measured while hovering (pitot at 90 degrees)? Is it valid at all or should I ignored it?
