I am having repeat issues with AHRS errors preventing me from arming. I am running a cube orange+ and here3+. I have calibrated the compass outside with good satelite lock but when I power up the cube I get the error ‘prearm ahrs ekf3 yaw inconsistent’. I’ve tried a whole bunch of things including only using one of the two compasses but not having any luck. I have attached a log if that helps.

You have the priority wrong. Set the external compass as prioroty1. And then use Magfit to calibrate the compass.

Page down to the MAVExplorer section and watch the video. Drive a few figure 8’s and use that log.
And set the LOG_BITMASK back to default.
Thanks for that, I’ll give it a go. Is it typical to need to do that, it was surprising as I did the compass calibration in mission planner with just the cube and here 3 outside the vehicle. I was then getting errors even outside the vehicle immediately afterwards. The application is going to be on a boat BVLOS for multi-months so I’m worried this could be a bit of a show stopper.
