After Windows 10 1909 Update cannot connect to hardware

I have a user that uses the Mission Planner 1.3.74 build. He has had success connecting to his Seafloor Hydrone hardware in the past. Recently, we updated his system to Windows 10 ver. 1909. Now he cannot connect, when clicking the connect option in the top right…it times out.

I have tried working the ComPorts in the Device Manager, but I have not had any luck.

Any suggestions?

ctrl-f and select driver clean
then install driver package from https://firmware.ardupilot.org/Tools/MissionPlanner/ (driver.msi)
(Assuming your user uses a standard USB cable to connect to a usual cube or pixhawk)
