Aeroplane bearing relative to ground station

I am just wondering if there is an indication of the bearing to the plane from the ground station. This would enable me to know what direction to point directional antenna. (That is assuming I have a magnetic compass handy)

yes there is, in the status screen look for AZtoMAV (bearing) as well as ELtoMAV (elevation)

One thing I should mention is that this seems to be true bearing as apposed to magnetic.
This is no problem as it is just a matter of adding or subtracting magnetic variation.
