So I saw there is a guide for installing mission planner in RPI,https://github.com/ArduPilot/ardupilot/tree/master/ArduCopter, but I kept thinking but couldn’t find any advantages this setting has over just using PC with mission planner, or using python scripts with RPI. Are there any?
Not hauling an expensive laptop into the field.
RPI can run all day on batteries that I already own or can easily charge in the field.
And most importantly: Just because I can.
