ADS-B Avoid: Warnings and Distance rings for quad plane

Hi All,

I’m operating a quad plane with FW 4.4.3 and I’m using MP 1.3.81.

I’ve got the AVD parameters enabled and set to warn for both AVD_F and AVD_W. I’ve had an aircraft come within the AVD_W boundary and no warning appeared within MP.

While researching the topic, I came across this post: Red & Orange circle around copter icon, which describes red and orange rings in MP for AVD_F and AVD_W distances.

I’ve played around in the simulator today and the red and orange range rings only appear when using a copter and not with a plane. Has this functionality, plus the warning messages in MP, not been implemented for plane, or am I missing something?

Indeed, it is only implemented for copter atm.

Thank you, that’s good to know. Do you know if there are any plans to port it over to plane? Both of these features would be really useful for our use case.
