Adding external sensors

Hello,

I need some help from some with my current task!
The goal is to add some more sensors to my Pixhawk 6x (RPM, Temperature…).
Because nearby all ports are occupied with other stuff the only available port is the Tele2 port or the I/O pins.
The first idea was to connect the sensors to an companion computer (Arduino) but that wasn’t successful until now.
Do you have other suggestions/ideas?

  1. use arduino
  2. lua scripting on the flight controller
  3. add a companion computer and connect the sensors to it

All of these options are documented in the wiki and in this forum.

It’s what I thought about more or less but without lua scripting since it is new to me
