Adding custom buttons to Mission planner

Can anyone tell me if there is the ability to add custom macro buttons to mission planner? I have zero programming experience, unless writing simple batch files to prank coworkers counts.

The way I envision it in my head is that I can create a custom button and add a MAV_CMD with specified values, then drag the button into the actions tab. Does this exist?

  1. please do not reply to a five years old topic.
  2. check out the plugins directory in your MissionPlanner folder. You can find examples there for adding controls to Mission Planner. It is easy to add buttons, but you must know some c# language, and some generic Winforms programming.
