About a tele-driving project idea

Hi everybody,

I’m new here and I have question about a project idea. I’m thinking of building a tele-driving system that allows me to use Logitech steering wheel to tele-drive a rover with some feedback like video, velocity or position coming back. Something like these:

I’m not sure if it is easy or not to connect the Logitech steering wheel with ground station (mission planner) and send the wheel control to the rover. Do you guys has any experience on this?

I’m not exactly sure what hardware/components I might need to purchase. I’m thinking to buy a Logitech G920 racing wheel plus a Erle-Rover system (https://erlerobotics.com/blog/product/erle-rover/). Is there any suggestion on what to purchase?
