A change to Geo-referencing utility - pre-process allows CAM-to-image count mis-match

I’m using the latest beta of Mission Planner.

I’m testing a new camera - On a test mission the last 161 of 1033 images were not captured. (I suspect camera overheating.)

Using the “Pre-Process” function of the Mission Planner Geo-reference utility - I noticed a change. It used to be that if there was a mis-match between the CAM messages and the number of images, you couldn’t do the “GeoTag Images” step until you made an adjustment by selecting which images at the beginning or end of the series to omit - so the number of CAM messages and images matched.

I’ve tried it both with more images than CAM messages, and fewer images than CAM messages. In both cases - the geo-referencing “Pre-Process” completes - with notification of the mis-match - but allows doing the “GeoTag Images” step anyway.

I don’t know if this change is a bug or a feature. Could someone please shed some light on this?

Thank you!
