Hello everyone, and a Happy New Year! I am using the DYS SUN FUN SF2207 2750KV Brushless FPV Racing Drone Motor, this ESC SimonK 30A BLDC ESC Electronic Speed Controller Without Connectors, and a 5" Drone Frame.
Is it ok to use a 3s batteries with these motors even though the listing says 4-5s? Also can I use a 30 amp ESC instead of a 40 amp one?
I have to do some basic way point navigation, as well as some flying.
This depends on the weight of your drone which is unknown
In principle the motors will also work with lower voltage but also the thrust is much lower. To deliver the same thrust on lower voltage the current needs to be raised. But this again isn’t best for an ESC if this works near to its limits.
