3 Channel plane?

Will Pixhawk work with a 3 channel plane ie: Ele-Rud-Thr ?

Or does it need aileron ?

Seriously thinking of trying it on a Slow Stick.

I’m guessing I can I just plug the rudder into the aileron channel ?
