3.5 rc4 Quadcopter Autotune does not start

Flies pretty well in stabilize, loiter, etc but once in Althold or Poshold after ch7 Autotune activation it does nothing. Mid throttle MOT_THST_HOVER is set to 0.5 and due I use 3s and 4s batt MOT_HOVER_LEARN is set to 1.
Any suggestion? Thank you

auto tune is a flight mode now
don’t need channel 7 any more, get the latest MP and then get your bird so it flies pretty well in pos hold. set modes so you can switch from pos hold to auto tune
fly to the middle of a field and let it settle into position and switch to autotune
it should start twitching 10-20 seconds in

It’s OK to setup autotune as either a flight mode or an auxiliary switch - the behaviour will be the same in either case.
My guess is the issue is the sticks are not perfectly in the middle. We’ve slightly increased the stick deadzones in AC3.5.0-rc8 but you might want to try increasing them a bit more yourself. Solved. DeadZone for Rc channels increased to 30 and Autotune has done its job. Loiter, RTL and Land show now better behaviour. Thank you Randy!
