Whe set accelerometer level and make QLOITER perfect, but when we start main petrol engine (rear position pusher) the level of Loiter change, tail sit down and we see +5 +8 degrees pitch.
Big motor 170cc boxer, run minimum ad possible by EFI, i think the problem is 50% thrust and 50% big propeller near rear rotors disturb air flow.
How can fix this? i see one parameter Q_trim_pitch but i’m not sure if is this
This seems like it’s just fighting the thrust of the pusher motor, right? Normally it will sit there and hover, but when you try to push it, it tries to remain still, so it fights the thrust by tilting back so it can remain stationary.
I had this issue on a quadrotor I built with a pusher. If it was in a mode with GPS position hold, it would fight the thrust. I had to take it off GPS position hold so it would go.
It has to compensate for the thrust if the EFI won’t go lower. Though having ~10% TOW in idle thrust seems a bit excessive.
If you always start with motor off I would set trim for motor off condition and accept that you will have pitch up when warming the motor. Q_TRIM is for when your FW and MR trims differ.
