I tried to post two topics in one day and the discord said no, and suggested I work on my profile, Lol.

I’m 62, retired, and enjoying life. I bought my first RC heli in 1982, a Kalt Baron 28. Got married, had kids, and put my hobby on hold for 25 years. In 2008 I bought a Blade CP, Blade 400, and Trex500. Since then I bought around eight more 600 sized helis. All flybarless, two, four, five, and six blade rotor heads, all scale builds. One uses the NAZA-H, the others have IKON or BeastX in them. My current build is what brings me to this forum. It’s a Goblin 580 with Pixhawk 6C Mini running Ardupilot.

My career was split between designing electronic controls and test systems, and writing the software that ran on these systems.

For about twenty years I owned two 1970 Chargers. My car hobby was a blast, but I sold them when my wife an I decided we wanted to sail around the world (sort of), and bought a 43 foot Irwin sailboat. We have since sold that so now I have time for the hobby I have always loved since day one, flying RC helicopters. FPV heli flying is my goal, and doing it from a home built cockpit will be the final step.

That’s it, now you have an idea who I am. Have a great day, and thanks for reading this.
