Zubax GNSS 2 parallel with original 3DR gps

Hi!

Can I use the Zubax gnss as the primary GPS but also have the old 3DR GPS online? The 3DR compass is attached to the Flytrex Live 3G logging system and if possible, I’d like to keep using that too.
I’ve set BRD_CAN_ENABLE=2, GPS_TYPE=9, GPS_TYPE2=2 (uBlox) rebooted and calibrated the compasses. All three animations are moving when calibrating but I’m not sure if its correct. Can’t get a gps fix. Also the log window keeps spamming “GPS 0: detected as PX4”

I’m setting it up on the new Pixhawk 2.1. Zubax is in the CAN port and 3DR GPS in GPS1 port.

@tonutunnel not sure if you already saw this, but there appears to be a problem with CAN1. If you shift to CAN2 you should be fine.

I’m pretty sure the compass on your 3DR GPS can not be shared between two different systems, or at least that having a different master on the I2C bus could present a problem, but I haven’t tried it (and wouldn’t recommend it).
