Upload firmware via Mavlink or?

Is there a way to upload firmware to a Pixhawk without using the USB connection ? Like via Mavlink ? Or something else ?

No, it has to use an USB connection

Actually, it is possible to upload FW via non-USB serial ports. Sorry I dont have link handy, but check RCG thread on Matek F405-Wing. Several of us busted the weak USB connection on that FC, and were saved by creativity of others.
