I have recently discovered a bug in the autotune feature. I apologize for letting this go stable before finding it. The issue is that the gains from one axis are being loaded into another axis just prior to the testing beginning. Thus it is safe to use the autotune feature if you only are tuning one axis in a flight. Before tuning another axis, cycle power to the flight controller. I will work to resolve this bug as soon as possible. I still haven’t found the cause of it but hope to in the next day or two.

Wanted to follow up on this thread. This bug was fixed with version 4.2.2 which was released a little over a week ago. So you will be able to resume using Heli Autotune feature and be able to tune more than one axis in a flight. Thanks for your patience.
