The drone starts rotating around its axis clockwise when I try to lift it into the air. I tried to calibrate it, as well as to make sure that the propellers were level with the horizon. The drone took off with and without cargo, and in both cases, it began to spin.
Characteristics of the copter:
FC - Mateksys f405-te
ESCs: Skystars talon 40a 3-6s
Motors: MiToot 5010-360rv
Propellers: 12"
Frame: Tarot Iron Man FY650
I’m also attaching my settings from MissionPlanner:
v2.param (19.3 KB)
I’m adding a failed flight log:
2024-07-13 14-40-42.bin (912 KB)
I would appreciate any help with this error.
Why are your arming checks disabled?
Did you set up your drone with the Methodic Configurator?
Why are there five likes, all by accounts created in the last hour?
Questions, questions…
Ha,ha. What’s to like?
Following The Configurator will work out whether you have the motor order and direction correct.
And you may as well flash the Bdshot version of firmware for that board and configure for Bdshot before advancing.
I have the same problem
You are in luck. Then the process to the solution is the same.
Start here and get to work: The Configurator
It is because we all working on this issue and want ti bring atention. It rotates even with checked arming flags.
- Reset all parameters to their default values using mission planner
- Read section 1 of the How to methodically configure and tune any ArduCopter Blog post
- Install and use ArduPilot methodic configurator software
- Avoid using mission planer except for step nr 13
This is like saying the car will still run if you remove the check engine lamp.
I just answered on a question: why arming check are disabled. What brings your comment?
Thank you very much!!!
I have no idea why someone would make the mistake of disabling pre-arm checks which are enabled by default. So, it took action to make this mistake. Enabling or disabling this will solve no problem but give clues to them. And potentially prevent doing something stupid and causing harm or damage.
