Tarot 650 PRO motor-config

The logs say ~29.5 Amps. This varies slightly by a few 10ths. I shoot for low hover amps too.

I’ve played with different props(1344 wood, 1355 T-motor Style CF), different motors( 4006-740Kv, 4006-620Kv, 5010-530kV), and different batteries (Single 4S 5200mAh 15C, 2 4S 5200mAh 15C in parallel, Single 6S 10000mAh 15C), and the best real world performance I can get is using the 740s on 4S swinging the 1355 CFs.

Your KV / Prop ratio is weak. 50mm motors at 350KV should be spinning 15" props (at least)
You may also check to see if your throttle range increase is consistent. Not sure if there’s mention of that in previous comments, but APM and new firmware has had issues of topping out at mid throttle.

Never seen an APM with any firmware newer than AC 3.2.1, and they didn’t “top out” at mid-throttle. What did happen is for some strange reason THR_MAX would change from 1000 (100%) to 80 (8%).

I’ve been around this block a time or twelve, so I know that 5010s need 6S and big props, but the actual topic is about a Tarot 680 Pro which is limited to 13" props.

I mentioned the 5010s because I did some testing with the 350Kv and the 530Kv variants and as one would expect the results were underwhelming.
