Matek H743-Mini DOA? [solved - defective board]

Indeed - I will be eyeing his 5 and 7 inch build blogs quite closely as I proceed!

Can confirm now that I received two of the older boards. This pic shows a “1.5” silkscreen near the forward arrow that is not present on either board I have.

Ah right. I see the IMU identified too.

Since you were so quick to reply, I’ll ask here - would you run DSHOT600 or DSHOT1200 with this board and BrotherHobby 2207.5s?

I saw an old topic where DSHOT1200 may have been acting up for some.

Yea, I think Dshot600 is recommended. That’s what I using on a 5” with it.

Yep, fair enough on DSHOT600.

Interesting couple more observations with this board - VIBE levels on the 20602 are clipping at times, where they do not at all on the MPU6000 (values generally under 15 with occasional spikes to 20). I think that may be why disabling it is recommended in some cases.

Additionally, I was surprised by how much I could impact VIBE levels overall simply by changing from variable 24-48kHz to a fixed 48kHz freq in BlHeli32. I went from “autotune failing to level” to a very quick autotune session with that single change.
