I need a flight controler that can do waypoint missions on a boat for cheap will a speedybee f405 wing be able to do that?

Im building an autonomous boat and need suggestions for a good flight controler for cheap and was wondering if the SpeedyBee f405wing can do autonomous missions?

Do yourself a favor and get an FC with an H7 (NOT H743VG) processor. F4 generally still works, but you’ll be missing features and there will likely be a point where new Ardupilot releases won’t support it anymore.

I would start with a list of requirements and restrictions, then look through the FCs listed here (while keeping in mind that you want an H7 processor and 2M flash) and select a couple that fit your use case best. Then check for price and availability, and maybe look up the model names in the forum search to see if there are issues reported. Do keep in mind that popular FCs like the Matek models will pop up a lot, that doesn’t mean they’re bad (they’re not), but with many people using them many problems will get reported and questions asked.

H7 minimum typically h743 wing etc even for rover

Any supported Flight Controller will do Auto Missions but listen to the advise about the minimum level of Flight Controller you should buy.
