10 mph (and even 5 mph) is very fast I believe for a vehicle like this. I think you would need pretty fast-acting servos/actuators to drive a vehicle going that fast. That is just my experience. I typically mow at 1.5 to 2 m/s (3.4mph-4.5mph). My fields are not as smooth as I would like. Here is what 2 m/s (4.5mph) looks like from the seat: https://youtu.be/IepGuPBgusU?t=546

I should add that larger wheels and maybe some shocks would be a big help in a rough field.
Scott, not sure about the OP but I am working on a similar-sounding project using a video camera (currently Logitech C920 webcam) with neural network running on Jetson Nano on the rover to spot weeds in real time. Solenoids control spray heads on boom.
