Yea, I have flown a lot of simulated missions from the mountain peak that shows in the mission plan above, landing ~800m down. Some day I’ll take a quad up there!!

Does return to home work?
Return to home also uses wpnav, so I guess untill the RTL altitude is reached, it will continue to drift. Didn’t try this though, just guessing
A test I figured out how to tell if the compass is working is to rotate the copter, plug in the battery, and see if it starts up pointing to 0 degrees or to the angle of it’s actually pointing to in MP.
The on-board mag fools you, even if the compass isn’t working. In the end, I reset the controller to default, and suddenly the compass started working correctly. Try to default the FC with MP…
