Giving credit to the ardupilot team

I’m about to submit an experimental paper to a scientific journal in the coming months. A significant number of our experiments use the ArduPlane firmware – we were wondering what’s the best way to credit the ardupilot community. We will of course mention it in the Methods section, but is there a way we can cite your work?

I think the best option is to use http://www.ardupilot.org/ for the cite. If you look in google scholar you’ll see that is quite common.

I would add that the project is ArduPilot and not APM nor Pixhawk autopilot !
