Hi, can someone explain to me what yaw reset really does? I see that sometimes after takeoff, the copter makes a small but sharp yaw movement during the reset. What is it actually doing

Magnetic field near the ground can be oriented in a different direction than it should. To avoid copter yawing excessively after takeoff heading estimate can be reset after takeoff.

Okay so the sharp yawing I observe are due to the different magnetic field?
That is yaw aligning to the offset provided by Yaw reset, which takes place at 5m AGL (where presumably all sources of ground mag interference have been cleared)

For me it does it at 1m.
