What does beeping and motor spinning on and off mean?

I have recently been building a quad, using mission planner. I don’t know what I did, but the motors spin on and off when I power up my drone. Also the buzzer beeps for some unknown to me reason. I attached a link HERE. Does anyone know what this means?

By the way, I thought (for some reason) that this is happening because the quad is getting powered up in failsafe mode, but I think that I am wrong because I rechecked all of the failsafes and non of them should be triggered.

Thank you.

What autopilot? What firmware version? What motors? Which ESC? Using what protocol with which parameters?

Even the link you shared is inaccessible.

Without basic info about the situation, the only possible answer is “you did something wrong.”

Hello, thank you for the reply.

Sorry for not giving the necessary information, I though that in this case it doesn’t matter because the problem shows a specific issue (for example, a certain LED flashing means that there is an with the RC).

Anyway, I already solved the issue. Next time I post I will definitely include the hardware and software. This time I used a Mateksys H743 Slim FC, Skystars Ko25 ESC, and some cheap no brand Aliexpress motors.

The issue was that my ESC was set to run at D-Shot 600, I don’t know why this caused an error (both the ESC and FC are rated to run on D-Shot 600), but after setting it to D-Shot 300, the error just disappeared.

I’m glad you solved it. The Skystars brand isn’t exactly known for good documentation, so perhaps the ESC is less capable than claimed.

Nothing you described in the original post would lead to diagnosing a specific issue. So yes, it does matter.

Your best option would be to flash that ESC with Bluejay firmware and the Flight Controller with the Bdshot version of Arducopter and configure for Bdshot.
