I am using orange cube+ with my 4+1 vtol setup and I am trying to configure it in mission planner. I am using orange cube flight controller and ESC & motors of tmotor. I have done some basic parameters like enabling quad mode and servo movement.
Now, I am testing servos with skydroid H16 transmitter but I am facing some unusual behaviour like the values I have set for min and max it isn’t Operating on them. I mean my elevator keeps on moving slowly even when I stop moving the stick. What could be the problem?
Also, when I try to test the vtol motors via mission planner motor test tab and I set up 5% throttle for 2 seconds, but they aren’t responding. I am getting " command denied by autopilot" error. I have disabled brd- safety check and arm disabled check but still getting no response. I get the initial ESC beeps but no motor movement. What could be wrong?
If you can help me figure out this issue, I would really appreciate it.
Also, if you can suggest any basic configuration for my setup for a maiden flight, that will be a great help!
Thanks it worked. I tested all one by one via mission planner. Three of them spinned but one of them isnt moving and its ESC was also giving no beep so, I unplugged rest of ESC and motors and plugged only this one with Flysky transmitter and receiver. I reversed signal wire too. On plugging in battery, the beep started and when I tried to move motor with throttle, it didn’t move properly and it Sounds like something is resisting it. What could be the issue here??
Could be a lot of things. What do you mean you reversed the signal wire?
If the ESC is using Dshot you will need to have it on one group of outputs (typically “aux” on the cube orange), and all the servos will need to be on the main outputs.
I have plugged in all servos to the main and ESCs to the AUX out. When I am testing on the mission planner motor test tab, one motor doesnt spin, it gives command denied by autopilot. Is this ESC callibration issue or somthing else? Cuz now when I check motor with flysky individually, it is spinning properly, but isnt spinning on motor test tab.
