I have a frame rigidity problem which caused the VTOL plane to develop strong pitch oscillations. The strange bit is when I plot the pitch PID versus pitch attitude, I found that the pitch PID values actually fluctuated when the oscillation happened and I was in Qloiter mode. I have also seen this when in pitch autotune. But why should PID change at all when it’s in Qloiter?
Also, I used PIQP.P, I, D in Mavexplorer to plot these. I assume these are the PID to look for, but I also recall that I initialized P and I in MP to something like 3.5 per one of the manual tuning guide…I must be confusing two different sets of PIDs?
