VN300 integration as external AHRS

Hi all,

I’m trying to integrate my VN300 with my cube orange to be used as external AHRS with GPS.

Has anybody had any luck doing this? I’ve followed all of the steps (VectorNav External AHRS — Plane documentation) however when I power up the board it gets stuck in a loop of initializing GPS2 as external AHRS and refuses to do anything else: Here’s an excerpt:

What other settings should I look at?

In addition, is it possible to just use the VN300 as GPS only?

It looks as if the second GPS receiver isn’t connected.

The answer is in the documentation you linked.

I’m having similar results with the VN300 and the blue robotics Navigator flight controller.
Have you found any solutions?

Do the accelerometer calibration, IIRC using EAHRS doesn’t stop the onboard estimator (EKF3), it provides fallback.
