Anyone used a Pixhawk in a full-size plane for mapping? Will it work?
I would like to create a mission, follow the mission route manually (piloting plane), and have it trigger the camera at the appropriate interval. Is there some sort of other system I should be looking at?

I tried it 1x with an UL and 2x with a helicopter. Main problem was the lag of the display in MP. The turning radius of the UL was way too big in comparison to the grid required by the camera. Vibration of UL and minimum speed was o.k.
The helicopter is a nightmare in terms of vibration so be prepared ! If one person checks air traffic, the pilot can concentrate on pattern flying. It didn’t work using MP, but it worked with a low latency GPS of the helicopter.
