Using hitec CAN servos in multi turn mode

Hi everyone, I need some help running my CAN servos in multi turn mode using my Orange Cube flight controller.

Servo used: MDB961WP CAN DroneCAN 28V Actuator by Hitec CS

I have 4 servos connected via CAN1 to the cube. 2 of the servos have the 1.5(2) UAVCAN firmware flashed (link) and they are used in regular servo mode.

The other 2 are set to multi turn mode and they have the newer 1.6(2) firmware flashed. I have done this because only 1.6 supports multi turn. However for some reason, I am not able to move the 1.6 servos at all in mission planner. I spoke with Hitec support and they said the newer firmware should work with ardupilot for multi turn and they know people have used it in this way.

For now, when do this in mission planner:

setup → optional hardware → dronecan/uavcan → MavlinkCAN1 → Connect → Inspector

I can see all 4 servo ids being published, but when I try to move the servos using my RC remote, only the servo mode servos move, not the multi turn ones. Please help!
