Description: DJI RS2 for driver development

As part of my ongoing project to improve ArduPilot’s gimbal and camera support I would like to try and add support for the DJI RS2 and RS3 Pro hand-held gimbals which use the DJI R CAN protocol (download SDK from here). While DJI provides good documentation on the CAN protocol it is possible that I may not be able to make this work but I think it is worth a try.

Here is the used RS2 that I would like to purchase (Japanese only). I have considered other options including renting the gimbal for a week but this would cost $170 USD.

A community member (who works at company using AP I believe) has offered to loan me the gimbal hardware for the initial development at least so I’m closing this request for now.

I’ve got one you could borrow as well. I’d love to use on my cube black octo.
