Hello Everyone! I could use some help identifying what went wrong when landing. I have my low battery failsafe set to ‘Warn Only’. I have my RC failsafe set to RTL. I briefly lost radio signal at one point but the signal returned and I regained control of the quadcopter. I manually flew home and when I got above the launch/landing spot I started to descend while rolling left and right to avoid prop wash. At one point I tried to roll right and it did not respond and it started to descend faster than I was commanding it to. I pushed the throttle stick all the way up trying to stop the descent. Again, it did not respond. It continued its descent into some trees. When I located the quad it was on the ground and the only damage it sustained was 2 halves of folding props were damaged and 1 of the plastic T mounts that connects the leg tube to the skid tube was broken. Would anyone know what may have caused this uncontrolled descent and why pushing the throttle stick up did not override it? I have not yet reviewed the flight log. It would be very helpful if someone could tell me what to check or look for when I do review the log. Thank you.
would be best to take a look info the logs instead of guessing.
Mr. Borowski, so that I wouldn’t have to guess, I came here in hopes of reaching someone who may be familiar with the issue I have recently encountered. I also asked if someone could tell me what to check or look for within the logs. No need to respond or comment if you can’t actually help. Thank you.
Again, without your logfiles all is guessing.
But if I don’t know or understand what I’m looking at or looking for, I am still just guessing. Can you tell me what areas of the log I need to check? What do I need to look for within the log? How do I sort through the log and understand what I’m looking at or know what I’m looking for that will lead me to answering why the quad did what it did? Without knowing what I’m looking at or looking for or how to sort through and understand what I’m reading it is all guessing to me.
Post a link to the log. It’s pointless to explain to you what to look for, it could many things. IOW it’s guessing for anyone reading your post.
