Unable to connect Matek H743 FC to elrs receiver

Hi, I am currently trying to connect my ELRS receiver to my H743 FC, I have connected the pins based on the Matek page and the documentation, receiver’s RX to TX6 and TX to RX6 (even flipped to test).
Set
BRD_ALT_CONFIG = 1
SERIAL7PROTOCOL = 23
RSSI_TYPE = 3
and still unable to make it work (the bar doesn’t move on radio calibration),

I have tried using this receiver with my transmitter on speedybee wing mini on INAV and it works fine.

TX: Radiomaster Pocket
RX: Happymodel EP1 ELRS

SERIAL7 = USER = UART6 (TX only unless BRD_ALT_CONFIG = 1, then RX available also)
