Hi,
after many years of building and flying drones, I have been wanting a travel case of sorts which allows me to move my drone and all required components in a safe fashion.
A few years ago I’ve drawn up a basic design which would suit my needs, as is not a simple task as using and transporting smaller, ready made drones. Some of which come already with their own travel case.
However, due to time restrains I never was able to build such a case myself. So I made a decision to seek the services of a professional case manufacturer, who is willing to make custom cases based on drawings provided.
The outcome is shown below.
As you can see it got handles, rollers and a pull up handle so case can easily be moved on flat surfaces.
The foam inserts I have made myself, as it would be challenging providing exact shape and size specifications to a manufacturer.
