I would like to use this parameter for launching my plane, and although described in the TKOFF documentation, I am not finding it in the MP Full Parameters. I am running the latest version of MP.

The beta versions of firmware are generally safe. It’s at beta5 today.
That was going to be my next question…so download Arduplane Beta5 from Ardupilot firmware site? What version is “Latest”?
You can do that or from Mission Planner’s Install Firmware screen click “beta firmwares” to populate the screen.

Just a comment about “Latest”. You probably did it right and got the beta version but in the Firmware repository “Latest” is the current Developer version (V4.8 today) and you don’t want that.
