Throttle Output not active until 50% or more on Herelink Controller

Hello All I am a bit stuck on getting my throttles to behave as expected. I have a Cubepilot Orange + FC connected to Ready to Sky 40 A pwm ESC’s I have a fully functional setup aside from the fact that my throttle seems to be mapped such that I only spin motors at above 50% input. I have performed all the necessary herelink hardware level calibrations as well as the calibrations of the radio within Mission planner. My gut tells me this is an ESC calibration issue but I cannot get my setup to enter into calibration mode.

I have tried this process as shown here on this forum,Cal Procedure

Any help would be appreciated!!!

have you tried the method mention in the last post? You can try that or with a servo tester.

How is RC3_TRIM set?

@Tristan_Redish could you put a link to that post, I am not sure I am looking at the correct one? Thank you!!

@Yuri_Rage I have the trim set to my lower PWM value currently.

Ok, that rules out RC calibration as a cause.

Hello again, I have a keep question, I subscribe to ecalc, and configured, and I reweighed and it came out to 2.5kg so I bought need battery and bigger propeller like it said to use , now when I power on the 6s battery the esc are just beeping and doesn’t try to calibrate. Is this because the esc says 2-4s and I’m using a 6s battery ?

Yeah, that’s probably an issue. Even if it did calibrate, it may not last long.

Cool thanks , I’ll order some 6s esc
