Hello to all, we’ve started to use AQUA in a temperatures extreme here in Portugal and everything stop. Event the voltage drops to 11V. Solutions:
just open holes for the air to circulate;
Use a fun with a control button in the radio;
Use a T sensor that control the fan, above 30º.C inside?
Best.

Hi @Antonio_Goncalves1 ,
I’m not sure that many of us have heard of AQUA. Maybe it’s an autonomous boat which uses ArduPilot as it’s flight controller software? Lots of products do so we aren’t familiar with them all.
Randy Mackay, AQUA is not a product in the market. Its a USV 3D printed for academic use made by a small team in spare time: GitHub - fqantonio/aqua: Documentation about the development of AQUA a small autonomous 3D printed catamara for training and research · GitHub .
We have this temperature break for the first time since August 2024, when we start testeing and developing it.
What is your advise?
Best. António

Hi @Antonio_Goncalves1 ,
The best solution would probably be to add water cooling something like the Hydropro Inception has.
I guess it would be good to first determine what failed. It could be the ESCs, the flight controller, companion computer?
TBH, I’m not a hardware expert so I don’t have much valuable advice.
