Tarot 2814/700KV as replacement for SunnySky V2814-11 KV700?

Hi everyone,

I’m building a quadcopter, and the required hover thrust is around 840 g per motor.

I found that the SunnySky V2814-11 KV700 fits my drone very nicely based on the thrust/current data, especially with 4S and 11-inch propellers. However, this motor seems to be an older model and I cannot find a reliable place selling it anymore.

I also found the Tarot 2814/700KV motor, which appears to have very similar dimensions and specifications to the SunnySky V2814-11 KV700.

My questions are:

  1. Can the Tarot 2814/700KV be used as a practical replacement for the SunnySky V2814-11 KV700?

  2. Is it reasonable to assume their thrust/current performance is similar if the stator size and KV are the same?

  3. Does anyone have reliable thrust test data for the Tarot 2814/700KV with different propellers, especially around 13-inch props on 4S?

  4. Are there any known differences in efficiency, vibration, bearing quality, or long-duration hover performance between these two motors?

My priority is not maximum thrust. I care more about stable hovering, low vibration, efficiency, and reliability for a long-endurance quadcopter.

Any experience or test data would be very helpful. Thanks!
