yep same - 1m wide blade, 0.95m lane gap gets most of the mowhawks
depending on how much alcohol the flight computer had the night before. Not just grass sticking up though, the human eye is ridiculously accurate and spots every blemish. XTRACK error accurately reports on how well the mower has done, and with a bit of GIS can even plot the location of the fails, giving a “how well did i do” kind of a report i guess.
Installed the other F9P this evening for GPS YAW and did the configuration as above. I’m not finding these two settings though (not sipped any alcohol yet)
GPS_RATE_MS
GPS_RATE_MS2
display now shows:
GPS:rtk Float
GPS2:rtk Float
I’m on Rover V4.6.2, walking around with the rig, the heading looks spot on. Any advice welcome.
Ok, ok, ok got it!.. It’s GPS1_RATE_MS=100 and GPS2_RATE_MS=100 …I guess both Yuri and I were sipping on the bottle that day! ![]()
No, the parameter names recently changed. Set 200, as I told you before.
Aye, aye, skipper set to 200 ![]()
We had a Mall static display of RC Aircraft two Saturdays ago and last Saturday we put on “Intro to RC Flying” at our field (Hands-on Sim and on the Flight-Line), which was over subscribed. This generated a few new members, some much needed revenue and allowed us to interact with the youth in the community.
So This coming Saturday I will get back to the Autopilot project with actual running on the beast.
Cletus,
I just bought this mower. Having troubkle opeerating it. You hav eany suggestions on starting and adjusting the cutting height?
If it’s the same one we have:
Starting: Throttle lever half way, De-compression RED lever on engine near exhaust depressed, and turn the key.
Height Adjustment: Between engine and electronics box, there’s a scissors jack, turning it adjusts the height (there’s an anti-rotation clip to be removed first).
Hope this helps!
When you move the machine. Is the clutch dis engaged? Do you fill the air filter with oil?
Thanks
Thanks,
George

Yes, it’s a “Wet” filter, the lower bowl of the air filter has an internal mark and oil, 20W50 or some such should be filled in there up to that mark.
I move the machine both with clutch engaged and disengaged. They advise that it not be run too long disengaged (I see no reason why not). I usually drive it out of the storage space on electric power only, and start it up on the field.
I have a pdf manual I would like to send you, but it’s too big to upload here or email. I can do it on Whatsapp I think, wanna DM me with your mobile number?
User Manual, Let’s Try This:
AMD_120A.zip (670.1 KB)
How did it go George?
BTW I have not installed the autopilot on ours since I got the GPS. Serious workload and we have had quite a lot of rain here, hoping for next week!
Holybro seems to be back in business! ![]()
Hi there.
Mikie from Sweden here.
I got the same Mower as you got. Just got it a week ago from China.
It doesnt work by R/C.(knock off one, Idunno?)
So, I was searhing the net for forums and people using same one.
Is there any chance you could help me with the setup to get this thing running?
Yeah its a longshot, but what the heck. I want it to work.
It do cost a few bux to just be a brick for the moment.
Thanks for reading.
Mikie
