Tail Dragger Takeoff Steering issues

I have a Hobby-King Swiss Cub, ‘tail dragger’ with a holybro F405 FC. I have ground steering setup, however the plane is just uncontrollable, (taking off in FBWA) during taxing and will not drive Straight. It’s very sensitive to rudder input as well, and will not track straight, it overcompensates, and the plane ends up out of control tipping over hitting it’s wing tips on the runway :frowning: . I have a GPS and mag setup and calibrated. The only way I can takeoff is to punch it and get up into the air asap, then it flies just fine.

btw I have another plane with nose ‘ground steering’ that works very well, but I’m new to ground steering and I’m not sure what i need to do with this plane, thanx for your help.

You have to learn how to fly taildraggers… Which is not easy.
You can delegate pitch roll to the ardupilot, but rudder steering is almost an art… you have to practice until you make it take off and land well, and your main issue willl be the rudder. Also bear in mind, when you accelerate, threr is P factor which will push the nose left… you have to compensate with rudder
