Starting up in auto mode

Hi All,
just finishing up my antenna tracker build using a pixracer and PT785-S pan/tilt mechanism. Everything is working great but I’m wondering if I can set up the tracker so I don’t need a laptop at all.
Currently I start up the tracker and arm it with the safety switch, then I need to connect with Mission Planner to set the tracking mode. I use the ESP8622 wifi module of the pixracer to connect to MP, which works fine, but it’s a bit clunky. Ideally I’d like to just have it go directly into Auto mode when it arms, then into Scan if it loses the vehicle. Is there a simple way to do this?


Ok, noob error here. With the mavlink radio running and connected it just drops into Auto mode itself. No mission planner required! Problem solved.
