Stabilize Roll and Pitch "P" parameters

Hoping for a little help here:

In the config/tuning section of Mission Planner, there are settings for Stabilize Roll P and Stabilize Pitch P parameters (as per the screenshot here: http://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/tuning.html#tuning).

My first question is: what are these called in the full parameter list? I can’t seem to find them.

My second question is: what do they do? I have read some of the tuning guides and they mainly seem to deal with the Rate PIDs. Not much is said about these Stabilize PIDs.

They are called stab_rll_p or atc_ in newer fw
