Stabilization mode - limiting the roll angle

Hi there

My name is Michal I come from Poland. I am in love with FPV since 2012.

I use APM 2.6 in my Skywalker X5 - it works almost perfectly.
I usually fly on Stabilization mode. The problem is I can easily roll over my aircraft.

Does anybody know how to limit the airplanes roll in stab mode ?

Best regards
Michal

You can’t limit roll angle in stabilize mode, however try FBW_A mode, it is stabilize mode with roll and pitch limits.

Graham - thanks.

I tried FBWA, FBWB yesterday. Airplane is sluggish.

My settings are:
LIM_PITCH_MAX 6000
LIM_ROLL_CD 5500

Airplane is hardly responding to stick movements in FBWA, FBWB modes
I am also unable to reach angles mentioned above.

Michal

Have you run the autotune mode?
My cessna was sluggish till I did the autotune and now she flys beautifully.

Yes, if the plane is sluggish then it’s not tuned correctly (assuming the control surfaces are big enough and have enough travel), FBW-A is the same as Stabilize, it just is roll and pitch limited, roll by LIM_ROLL_CD and pitch by LIM_PITCH_MAX and LIM_PITCH_MIN
