So i have Holybro sik radios.
Where should i plug the one on the plane?
I do not know the numbering of the uart on the board.
Also i know nothing about the wiring, as no port seems to be labeled with same names from sik radios.
Below is the port i am using. Have no idea if uart 6 or other.
Also, the radios are connected. but can not connect to mission planner.
No heart beat. Correct port and baud.

I know this of course.
But could you point what is uart6 on the image pls?
I can not.

After even more reading, i came to a conclusion that my external telemetry radio is actually most likely connected to Serial 4 port, because the solder pads on the board say “R4” and “T4” which, I think, correspond to Serial 4. After changing SERIAL4_PROTOCOL to 1 (MavLink 1) or 2 (MavLink 2) On Mission Planner via USB, I still can’t connect to the board via Telemetry, am I missing something?
Also sorry for all the mistakes I make, I can fairly say that I’m still pretty new to these new devices…
I had a look at this topic.
So main problem is i do not know what port number i am connected to. How do i know it if it is not written on the board or manual?

Why not? Use UART4 (Tx4/Rx4) or the UART5 on the DJI Connector if you are not using that.

I am using dji vtx, gps (they are close) and usb plug module.
I plugged the sik radio on the side instead.
As shown in the picture i uploaded.
Is that what uart number?
Because i know uart 6 may not be available bevause of wireless module?
So, if not that, what number? Where is it on the board?
Edit: is the numer after tx/rx the number of the uart?

6 is not available and the uart/serial port numbers are right in the wiki and in my last post. What else would Tx4/Rx4 be? Connect to Tx4/Rx4 and configure with Serial4
Note: I don’t use F4’s or Speedybee Flight Controllers, just following the available docs. Maybe someone else has something to contribute.

Please be patient.
This is not my first model, but this time seems like it is a little bit more difficult with this new fc.
The problem i had (it is almost clarified now) was to know fisically on the board what was uart1, what was uart2…
Now i know that i can refer to numbers near rx/tx.
If i look at tx1, i can find it in two diffent places…but i will find this out later…now i am focused on the sik radios.
Thank you Dave!

It might help too to look at the Ardupilot Mapping table in the Speedybee manual.

I can see it now. I am connected to Tx2/Rx2
I change that parameter and it should work.
What about the cables called RTS and CTS?
They will be on Tx4/Rx4

You don’t need RTS an CTS for the SiK radio. Just the RX,TX,5v,gnd.

It’s working!
Set serial# to mavlink
Set serial# baudrate
Thank you so much! Sometimes solution is in front of my eyes and i just can’t see it.
Do i need to remove RTS and CTS cables or they can stay there?

It’s up to you. If you don’t connect them it doesn’t really matter as long as they aren’t getting in the way or shorting something else.
