SOLVED-wires swapped: Matek h743 compasses not showing up in mission planner

Hi, I have connected my matek h743 wing and matek m9n-5983 GPS together and connected to arduplane through mission planner. Under the compass priority page, no compasses show up. Thanks in advance for your help :slight_smile:

I having the same issue using a mRo GPS and the Kakutef7. normally you just reverse the wires until it works. the compass seems to show up in the calibrate page but not sure if its just a false read. I’m new to setting up this board. possibly check your setting in the config should be set to 5 with the correct baud rate,

I got it to work with SERIAL3_PROTOCOL 5 don’t forget to swap tx and rx .

Just realised my mistake, swapped the da and cl wire. Thanks for your help
